Advent Bible Study: Preparing for Christmas is not just about shopping for presents. The Church gives us the season of Advent to help us appreciate the fulfillment of God’s promises in the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.
     In order to enrich our understanding of this mystery, we invite you to join a Bible study which will concentrate on the infancy narratives found in Matthew and Luke’s gospels but will also discuss the advent readings in preparation for the following Sunday. Our study, led by Deacon Joe, will begin on Tuesday, November 26 at 7 pm in the old school building. The four sessions of the study will be held: November 26, and December 3, 10, and 17, 7-8:30 pm.
